Yesterday was my first day rock climbing outside at the crag! For those of you babies who aren't rock climbers like me, "the crag" is the place where you go climbing. I went to Red Rock with mom and dad now that we're moved to Las Vegas for the summer and we had all sorts of adventures... including a peculiar bug bite in my diaper area that mom and dad aren't sure where it came from. I did all sorts of fun things like sleep, eat, get naked because it was really hot (something I've done a lot since I've been here - I don't like the heat much), meet an old German climbing bum who lives in his van and get a flower from my daddy. It was a great day. I'm not sure what mom and dad did, but maybe the pictures below will explain. :)
Hanging out in my dad-made shade
Food and mommy make me happy
Do you like my adventure hat?
Sleeping with daddy
Naked... ahhh... :)
Mommy climbing
Daddy climbing
Thanks for the flowers, daddy!
One happy climbing family... and one exhausted climbing baby. Climbing is hard work.
Life is good!
P.S. For those of you keeping tabs on my fat stats, at my 4 month appointment last week I was 13 lbs 14 oz, 24.5 inches and my big head was 42 centimeters. :)

Lucky baby! Most kids don't get to go climbing until they're a year old. :)

I love the flower picture, really cute.
I didn't think it was possible for her to get even cuter!!
I LOVE the one with the hate & the naked one of the two of you because her eyes are sparkling!!
Have fun in Vegas!
Emery, you are SO adorable, and you have the most beautiful eyes! I love the naked picture of you with your mommy! For some reason, naked babies are happy!
How cute! So your moved? Emery looks so cute in her adventure hat. Way cuter than Indiana Jones that is for shizzle. You are such a fun mom!
I was trying to use your post as evidence to Jeanie that we can take Jewell to the crag. She's still not convinced.
Man, I feel like we didn't even get to say goodbye to you and your parents, Em. You can come visit us in Michigan, and meet Liam, but you have to bring your parents, obviously! Looks like you had fun at the crag the other day.
I especially like the chacos in the last picture. When are they going to start making them for babies? :)
how cute is your baby! I love big headed babies.
These pictures are so beautiful. You are such a beautiful mom...you and Emery should be in a magazine. Love you. See you Saturday :)
Are you serious you took your baby climbing with you. Wow, you 2 are amazing. I would have a hard enought time just by myself let along carrying another 13 pound precious babe with me. That's 3 more points for you guys on my list of amazing people and the crazy things they do!!!!! Enjoy Vegas.
I want to see the pic of Emery on the rock. I know you guys have her lead climbing already. It looks like you guys are having lots of fun. It must be nice to have Aaron more!
Looks like you are doing what you love in Vegas. Good for you. We love ya!
You're BACK in the blogging world yea!
Hiking, how FUN! She's growing up so fast. Man she's a cutie Britt!! You asked me if i had any tips on keeping the baby cool in this heat...YEP. :) I have a few. One thing i ALWAYS do is make sure i have plenty of water and sippies/bottles for them to drink out of. (Even just running to the grocery store, you never know) Babies dehydrate rediculously fast, it's scary. Another thing i do is keep a little spray bottle in my purse (not the car cus then it will get hot) and i spray Nicci with it while she's in her car seat maybe every 10 minutes or less. It keeps her cool. If you keep their hair wet then they'll stay cooler longer. And also hats (which it looks like you've got) keeps the direct sun OFF of them which is good. Anyway, that's my 2 cents! :)
It's cool you're in Vegas for the summer, i would LOVE to see you guys and meet your precious little Emery!
Wow! time goes way to fast. I cant believe you are already in Vegas, and we didnt do anything before you left. Well I am excited for your family not only because of the great things happening for you, but just cause you guys are the greatest. seeya around dont forget us poor folk back in Utah!
